Farm Cycle Digitisation for Smallholder Farmers

More than 1 billion individuals are actively engaged in small-scale agriculture, a collective effort responsible for producing 70% of the world's food supply. Our mission is to establish connections and provide essential support to these farmers, empowering them to enhance their productivity and reshape global supply chains to their advantage. Our vision is to unlock the economic potential of 10 million small-scale African farmers by the year 2033.

Innovative AgriSolution (IAS)

Initially launched as a farm digitisation company catering to smallholder farmers. Following its inception, IAS evolved into an independent, purpose-driven enterprise. Its core mission revolves around constructing a reliable digital platform and deploying innovative technologies to empower farming communities for greater success. To date, IAS has engaged with 1 million farmers, participating in some of Nigeria's most substantial agricultural initiatives.

IAS solution hinges on robust technology and a cadre of trained, digitized agricultural extension agents who collaborate closely with farmers. Their primary aim is to bolster agricultural productivity by delivering financial products and services that eases 75% of farmers off-front cost; inputs, extension and advisory, monitoring and evaluation. These efforts have proven instrumental in enhancing capacity-building and risk management within the agricultural sector, with an impressive ratio of 1 Extension Agent per 200 farmers.

Our company, in conjunction with its technical partners such as the Tropical Investment Group (TGI) and the Japan International Corporation Agency (JICA), has achieved several milestones:

  • Managed 7 distinct value chains across Nigeria.
  • Established a network of over 3,000 trained and digitized extension agents nationwide.
  • Developed a telecommunications infrastructure for farmer engagement via push and pull services.
  • Curated a comprehensive agricultural advisory content repository accessible through a digital library.
  • Cultivated strategic global partnerships, drawing from extensive experience working with 1 million farmers.

IAS’s journey underscores its unwavering commitment to fostering sustainable agriculture and empowering farming communities across Nigeria.
